| From 16th-18th, Sept, 2008, the fifth China International Rescue & Salvage Conference was held in Dalian. Focusing upon the theme of “Respond to New Challenges: Greater Commitment, Better Solutions”, 400 scholars, experts, and personages from 16 countries and regions were conscientiously probing about such issues as advanced rescue & salvage techniques, practical rescue & salvage equipments, management of the system’s emergency response as well as the means of cooperation between China’s rescue & salvage institutions and its overseas counterparts. This conference boasted of being largest-scaled of all the previous ones. |
